Sniper elite V2 demo problems

I downloaded the Sniper Elite V2 demo a couple days ago and i tried to install it but i get a message: Sniper Elite V2 requires "Platform update for windows vista" (KB971512) to be installed and this doesn't seem to be present on your computer.

But i don't have vista, i have xp, please help

^....:s Sorry man, can't run it on XP. Although on my Vista laptop it wouldn't work either, so you're not the only one!

DirectX 10 games require both OS support (Vista and Win7) and video card support (Geforce 8000 series, Radeon HD 2000 series, or newer.)

It DOESN'T support XP?!?! WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥?!

I wait the ♥♥♥♥ing night before its release and i'm told this NOW?!

I pre-ordered back on the 21st of April! How do I get a refund?

It has been said there for quite a while now.. The game doesn't support directx 9, simple as that. Time to upgrade, XP isn't as great as some people still think.

Nothing we can do. You need to read the requirements of games before purchasing them.

Contact support, they may be able to refund you. The forums can't help with that...
