Controller Support?
I noticed on the store page for the game that the controller is supported, but when I run the game, I can't access the game with one.
Any help on this would definitely be appreciated. |

My 360 controller works tho I sometimes have to unplug and reconnect the controller then start the game before it will respond.

Yeah it didn't pop up for me, as I'd launched the game then plugged in the controller. If you have the controller plugged in and THEN launch the game, it recognizes the controller

Yep, you need the controller plugged in before you launch the game I'm afraid. We're using Unity and I haven't found a way to get the controller to recognise as it's plugged in, there's no callback from the system to handle this. Even when I'm testing in the editor I have to close the editor, plug in the controller, and open it again.

Same issue here (plugging it before running doesn't work either). Is it works only with an XBOX360 controller, or computer controller + XBOX360CE could work as well?

To be clear, we only supported wired X360 PC controller on the PC and wireless and PS3 controller on the Mac.
However, I'm going to do an update sometime this week or next which will allow resolution and control customization. Just gotta get the time! =0) |

Other note (that involves more work so that I understand that you can't make that) I miss is a internal real map with the mutiple rooms and the doors! It's more easy to know where you're going! |

Yeah, I own the wireless Xbox 360 controller, so I guess I'm out of luck.
Thanks for your help everyone. |

Is the wired 360 controller confirmed to work on the demo version as well?
I tried it out today but it seems to be suffering from the "not detecting triggers" syndrome, even after trying to add xinput1_3.dll to the game folder like on other titles with this problem. The configuration window seems to detect the controller as "controller 1" instead of "controller 0" as the default option reads. Also, it seems even after rebinding the gamepad buttons the game won't respond to the gamepad, and always shows keyboard bindings for commands instead of controller buttons. |

To pop up the controller icons I look for the following strings:
"Controller (XBOX 360 For Windows)", // PC_XBOX "Microsoft Wireless 360 Controller", // MAC_XBOX "Sony PLAYSTATION(R)3 Controller" // MAC_PS3 I haven't yet found a generic way in Unity to pick any controller. If you're able to use the controller customization via the input customization screen that's cool =0). |
