Hi,
me and a friend just bought this game at gamestop today, so retail cd-key. We wanted to install it, but in steam it says invalid cd key. Restarted Steam AND restarted PC. Both didn't work. As you can guess we are really jarateed at the moment. Also checked this article: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_...7480-wusf-3601 And it's exactly the format of our keys. I bought retails before with steamworks and they worked fine. Anyone knows how to solve this? Thx in advance, HC |

They provided me a .reg file wit following information in it:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\City Interactive] [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\City Interactive\Sniper2] "SerialNumber"="xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" "WriteDir"="Sniper - Ghost Warrior" Instead of the x's put in your Serial. You can make .reg file with notepad and change its file ending. This example works for 32-bit Windows, for 64-bit just let the phrase wow6432node away. Hope this help you out. regards Mosher |
