Alright then, let me explain myself. Roman Bellic is actually a kind-hearted guy, but he is so freakin' obsessed with American T i t t i e s and whatnot that it's really annoying to have him tell you all about the girls he's banging. I might agree with you if it wouldn't be for the sake of drama in GTA4. I think Roman better fits into San Andreas or Vice City.

i guess the thing that he annoys you with is one of his stronger points in my opinion. like the way he is always pretending to get laid every other day and living the american dream, and anything bad that happens to him is niko's fault. i suppose i like those more outlandish characters, i liked brucie aswell for the same reasons.

You should play E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy. Sometimes when you kill an enemy npc a message will say that, "You killed a loving father".

Kind of surprised me when I saw that (being a father of 2 myself). I said to myself "Crap! What have I done" and felt empty afterwards.

Kind of nice for the game to put things into perspective

I love that game, it gives a lot of quotes when killing someone, like "You killed a video games censor", "a man that looked like you", "someone that got forced to be a bandit/soldier" and others

Rinoa f'in Heartilly, from Final Fantasy VIII. And yes, I did most of the sidequests so she did get quite a bit of character development with the lead Squall; it just sucked. Ohh, and her little dog, too.

The pink fluffy ball from Chrono Cross, as well; it smacked of "oh noes, we've run out of designs and the boss still wants more characters!", "wait! let me ask my daughter to draw us something, we'll use that", "genius!".

And finally, it's kind of a stretch to call it a "character" per se, but the persona Mara, from the Persona series. Seriously man, that's just wrong, that's just sick, and it's stats are lousy on top of that.
