I hope you will add upgrade Admiral Edition to Emperor Special Edition option to Steam too. It would be really good.

Pre-ordered Emperor Edition also.

Having played the game for a couple hours, it's already totally blowing me away. Been waiting for a good 4x for a LONG time. There's definitely a lot of promise in this game.

It's an open Alpha: there is no NDA, so you may share videos and screenshots of the game. =)

This looks like something I must get. The ship section and the planetary solar system detail seem very interesting, and thats a very unique tech tree. Or rather tech matrix.

Looks like it has to be the Emperor Edition .... except for "Your picture in our offices in Paris." Believe me guys and gals, you wouldn't want that.

Think I'll wait. Certainly my kind of game, but its just too early to tell, to vague on its direction. Looks good though, but I'll wait for the reviews. With instant access to games these days, I just dont see a reason to preorder any game. To big a chance of it being a dog. It does look good though, hopefully it turns out great.

So there is a tech tree then? The game mentions customizing ships within a civilization but makes no mention of research & technology. I mean it would seem like a huge oversight not to include when they're obviously trying so hard to represent themselves similar to MOO. Would be curious to hear how fleshed out the tech/research system is.

This would probably be the tipping point of me deciding to buy or not.

This screenshot from the store page shows a portion of one part of the tech tree. The tech tree is very extensive
