Quick review - played 100% through iOS version
From a gamer's perspective:
Not much gameplay Visuals are awesome Atmosphere is phantastic Music is pretty good when its there Story is nigh nonsensical and meh. Built in Twitter thing is stupid and useless. Ignore it. Is it worth about $6? Yeah that seems like an OK price for it. Summary: A pretty cool interactive storybook with music. Last edited by Taineract: 04-16-2012 at 08:05 PM. |

Hey fellas, I really like your game. Absolutely gorgeous and really enjoyed the adventure. Took a turn for the weird at the end but not in a terrible Mess Effect 3 - gimme back my money - kinda way.

add. to the above
Think of it as 'experience' rather than a 'game' in the traditional sense and you will have a perect time. Yes, in this dream?! world nothing makes much sense, magic and (mild) horror is everywhere: You wonder or flee around and solve puzzles. All like in a lot of other point and click adventure ![]() I cannot speak for the game mechnics, yet but on the iPad it was excellently matching the game. Ambient, music and graphics - This is a perfect ride. Last edited by mindgames: 04-17-2012 at 03:37 AM. |

With initial regret after boot up I quickly changed my mind after a little play, have only done session 1 but Cappy seem to have captured a certain something. Nice work.
But yes, it looks like it'll be horribly short at 17% for the first session. |

So far, the only thing I very much dislike about this game is its language.
Language style in this game crashes so badly with soundtrack and the whole atmosphere. It feels so out of place with teen slang and modern music reference such as "move-it move-it". |

Am I allowed to say I find the controls and writing to be absolutely atrocious?
That being said, the music is pretty fantastic (already have listened to the soundtrack a few times) and I find the pixel-art gorgeous in its exceedingly low-fi aesthetic. |

Any reason to pick up the PC version over an iOS version if you don't own either?

Ended up going with the iOS version simply because that way the rest of the family could enjoy it too (wife and 5yo aren't allowed to touch my PCs). Only briefly messed with it so far and while gameplay seems a bit simplistic so far the experience is entertaining due to the music and style of graphics. The only complaint I have is the turning the device on it's side to unsheathe the sword on iOS which I'm sure the PC version gets spared from.

Play it on the iPad, then. I haven't tried the PC version, but I know the game, and hence the controls, were originally designed for iOS.
