This is something I noticed for a while, most game pages in the store do not have a single gameplay screenshot or video, which makes figuring out what the actual game looks like an effort of searching other websites...
This should be enforced for all games (except for games not ready yet obviously). I understand those non informative screenshots look great, but they tell nothing of how the game plays, looking at the today's sale, that transformers game, you can't tell what the game is about by looking at those SShots or video... They're all pointless. |

It`s easy to fix too, I mean, all our screenshots are stored on the server. And can even be categorised per game.
I really won`t mind if the publisher or developer or whatever, picks out a few screenshots to put on the store page of their game. At least those are screenshots from actual gameplay. :/ not sure how they would do that with video`s... but then again, there`s enough of that on youtube. And heck, how hard is it to just run one of them screencap programs and run the game for a 15 minutes of random gameplay footage? |

Yeah it could even try to search for your friends screenshots if you're logged in.
Right now, it's like most pages would need a disclaimer : " Images are for illustration purposes only and may not represent actual products." |
