Huh..crashing? Doesn't happen to me, i can play hours on end without crashing. Did you ever stop to think it might be your computer at fault? No? Oh well.

Next time please think before you talk.

Are you so narrow-minded that you only consider what happens to you?

Same with the OP, he only cares what happens on HIS computer, maybe he never defrags, maybe he has stuff running or skins on his game, he wants a solution for his game.

I don't ever crash. AND, actually it is not narrow-minded to not care about random dudes on the internet. I mean, who cares about other people here? or even in real life? Do you care about people passing down the street? Do you help them solve their problems?

No one does, no matter how hard you try, you can't care about everyone.

Just because it works perfectly on your end doesn't mean jack about anyone else. Your crap logic is the same crap logic that the OP uses, and the same crap logic that all these "X company can't code" threads follow.

but isn't it justified to complain about a game that crashes more in general than it originally did, and more than in other games?

I bet the OP's computer is chock full of viruses from porn. Maybe if you stopped whacking your Jag, your computer would run properly.

Listen pig tf2 is very great coded so shut up its your pc problem not tf2!
You can't even make 1/10000 of tf2 so stop calling it poorly coded

You see... this game used to cost money.. it doesn't matter what you can do, because they're supposed to. It's their job. What i can do or not do, doesn't matter. They're running a business and most definitely be let off because their customers can't do it.. If that were the case, then everything would suck. Plus, why not strive for better..

How can you judge whether or not a game is poorly coded without being able to look at the source? Logic failure.

Sure, but OP implies he knows exactly what the problem is and that he could do a better job.

To be honest, if he never included the coding bit in the title, this flame war wouldn't have sparked. People would drop passing glances instead of running to defend Valve.

Like this guy. Begone, Hammer Legionnaire imp. You problably don't even know what consitutes as 1/10000th of TF2's code, or any code for that matter.

Seriously, leave the code arguement crap to the ACTUAL coders. I bet there are only 5 posters in this thread that genuinely know what it's like to code anything past 'Hello World'.

I've already been doing that. I wasn't aware that I was supposed to be locked into a time limit in how long I'm "allowed" to enjoy a game either. I paid for it so I should be able to use it as long as I want. I guess I'll just go back to playing QUAKE since Id doesn't spork their games up horribly years after they're released, nor do they deliberately crap on their community.

The next time you buy a car let's see how happy you are when the dealership just starts changing stuff on it whether you like it or not. Tell me how happy you are when they take your Shelby Mustang and turn it into a Hello Kitty ricer with a fart can and a weak 4 cylinder engine... but that's what you want anyways, right? That's why you're playing Fashion Fortress 2 and defending it? I just want to be able to play without all the stupid crap. I guess having standards puts me in the minority then. So be it.

And before another troll throws down the Xbox360 card, I AM A PC GAMER. I don't own a console, nor will I so don't even go there.

It's always the car metaphor, for some reason.

For this comparison to make any sense at all, before buying the car, I would have had to sign papers where I explicitly give the company my permission to do whatever the hell they want with my car even after I purchase it, with or without reason, whether that be upgrading it, painting it, or just flat out taking it away from me. So if I signed those papers and bought the car, would I be happy if I walked outside one day and my car looked like ? No. But would I demand a refund? Would I have anyone to blame but myself? No, because I gave the company my permission to do whatever they want with the car when I bought it.

I continue to play Team Fortress 2 because it continues to entertain me as a First Person Shooter. For some reason, the fact that the characters are wearing different hats and using different weapons than they did when the game came out doesn't bother me.

To operate a motor vehicle you must have, *gasp* an OPERATORS LICENSE! When you buy a car you agree to follow all the laws governing the operation of a motor vehicle. Violating any of those laws can result in arrest, fines, impounding of the vehicle, loss of license, and imprisonment. Try removing the catalytic converter or other emissions parts from your vehicle and see how well that goes, and if you drive with lights not functioning or a loud exhaust you can be stopped by a police officer. So we have a license, penalties for violating the terms of the license, and penalties for unauthorized modifications to the product. Gee, this is starting to sound an awful lot like an EULA, isn't it?

Good for you! I'm glad you like it as it is, and since you like it and it's not like Robin is going to add in a Vanilla mode any time soon, seriously, why the hell are you even arguing with me since you already have your way to begin with? Or are you afraid that, if enough people make snarky comments about hats and trading once in a while that Valve might actually take away its cash cow hat factory and focus on making real games again? Oh I can see THAT happening. Go back to playing with your hats.
