I used my key to register the copy of Vietnam I bought on Steam last night. I can't remember if I used the serial or the gamespy key but one of the two worked. It came up as the regular version instead of the special edition but it did register on Steam.

I have a (giftable) copy of Assault Squad that I'd be willing to trade for Torchlight 2 and 1, if anyone is interested.

It's the multiplayer (Game Spy) key. At least, that's what worked for me.

Yep, I bought MoW Vietnam and used the GameSpy key to register/download through Steam. Very cool.

does Red Tides even have a multiplayer key? if it doesn't, then I guess it won't activate on Steam

I couldn't find a multiplayer key for my Red Tide purchase so I figured I would not be able to activate it (but I haven't tried to see if the normal serial would work).
