Control is haaard

The control is freaking hard sometimes. Maybe this is just me because I'm not getting used to use WSAD with my left fingers and Space key to jump with my left thumb. I'm getting difficulties when moving in a long jump, sometimes the movement just stop when I don't press the direction key while I pressed jump.

Possibly some tips? Using gamepad is not an answer

The keyboard controls are customizable. Possibly you can assign some other key that is easier to access, such as third mouse button for jumping.
