Steam games crash to desktop help plz

hi guys,

i am finding that my steam games are crashing to desktop without any errors. i can be just playing one min and then all of a sudden im back on the desktop and the game has gone?

her what it says in event viwer . . .

im finding that skyrim does this aswell.

i have windows 764bit
phenom 2 x4 965
asus 5870
4gb corsair ram
1000w psu
watercooler h50

nothing is overcloceked.

can anyone help please?

Not sure what the event viewer means but seen as your thread is ready to slide of the main page I'll post anyway.

I recommend that you update your GPU drivers and delete and re install Steam, also delete any related folders or files like your Steamapps folder.. bare in mind all your Steam games are in this folder so back them up if you dont want to lose them.

Go to Steam settings and under In-game tab uncheck "Enable Steam Community In-Game" and try if it works.
