Maybe it's because Mike agrees! And hey presto watch this thread suddenly either get locked or disappear or both because Yoshiro doesn't have any good answer to their banning policy.

Mike has been warned for his behavior and has in fact been temp banned from the forums in the past for it.

Yep, that's true..... in Sept., 2007 (5 years ago) Over a discussion on MOH: Airborne.

The banning policy is easy to understand.
  • Personal Attacks
  • Flamebaiting
  • Topic Hijacks
  • Not abiding by the site's rules
These are the most obvious reasons and cause for a ban.

ps; thanks for showing your BIAS Yosh.....

To get this thread back on track...

I wish TWI hadn't tried to kiss up to the casual gamer, they should have just remade RO1 with Unreal Engine 3, then given us a new tank every month or something.

Now they have lost the casual gamer who has moved on to the next best thing, leaving the regulars disenfranchised who have also now mostly moved on.

Might be best to skip RO2 and just make RO3 (Ostfront II).

They just remade RO1 with UT3. It's called the classic mode. Now, if they only removed bullet penetration and mantling... (which they should do. Classic deserves nothing less)

Why? They weren't in OST, so they must be BAD because ost was perfect and everyone wants a 1/1 remake with new engine, right?

Sadly, you speak the truth. RO2 has waaaay more than its share of elitists. Despite that I really enjoy RO2, it is the community that irked me most when I joined. Some of it is borderline psychotic. Visit any thread discussing "action" mode and you will see what I mean.

Good news is TWI is listening to all its customers, not just the usual suspects. I think the free weekend will prove that.

Yeh I am really looking forward to the Beta going live, not sure what the ETA is on it. Hopefully that and the free weekend after it will give the game a boost.
