Search bar constantly growing and shrinking

The search bar in the Steam client constantly expands and shrinks and has been doing so for a while. Is there a way to prevent this?

Very small search bar
Much longer search bar

Yes, there is, stop using the non-standard skin you are using until it (the skin) is fixed.

I've been using this skin so long I kinda forgot it was non-standard. Thanks, I'll give it a go.
