When it gets published to the workshop, it'll compile one more time but it'll add elevators to the beginning and ending. That's what I think.

What I meant by my last question was, is there a way to get custom maps that I downloaded previously into the menu along with the ones from the workshop?

Hello, on the game's page it is written:

To aid you in finding a co-op partner, all current owners of Portal 2 will receive a Steam coupon for 75% off a copy of Portal 2, which can be given away to other Steam users. Check your Inventory for details!

Does it mean I can buy P2 now and get -75% for a friend's copy ? Or did I have to have P2 before this offer ?

A4: There are collections, so if you subscribe to maps in that order after finishing the map you can play the next one in line. Thanks Motanium!

Q5: Can old aperture maps be made?
A5: So far I have only seen clean maps

The PTI can ONLY make clean maps without the use of a mod (there is a mod made by Carl.Kenner - theres a big topic in the puzzlemaker forum about it with a link to the beta build)

Q6: Hammer maps sometimes have additional content that has to be downloaded as well with the map (new props, music, etc). Will there be an easy way to add them to the download with the map when using the workshop?
A6: Unknown.(The workshop does have this functionality as it is seen in garry's mod 13)

The person who made the map packs the files into the map's BSP file using software called Packrat, you don't need to download anything else.

Feel free to ask/answer questions and to add information.

Just thought I'd answer in case anybody didn't know this stuff
