I really wish they'd include the changelog on Steam. Argh. Hoping for some juicy fixy stuff anyway.

Hmm, 1.09 didn't make it to my computer yet - is this a matter of time zone? Kiwis and Aussies first?

I had to restart Steam and then wait a little bit, and it eventually showed up.

I don't know if there were any chances to SP ... I didn't have the particle jitter bug anyway so in terms of gameplay everything seems the same.

Though I have noticed a lot of effects at once (for example wrecking 2/3 opponents in quick succession) produces a LOT of lag, but I don't know if that's down to my system being sub-par somehow or a flaw in the graphics engine (the game both lags AND slows down but then after a second jumps back to real-time/speed o_o)

It kinda throws me off in Frag Attack, though..

Yeah, as I wrote in the other thread:
I tried again with latest patch 1.09 today and I still have this kind of slow downs. Running Bandicam it showed that sometimes the frame rate drops down from constantly 60 to 35 and goes back to 60. So this could indeed be due to lack of grafx power. Will see if it goes away when I plug in the GTX 680.

Btw Kazzy what's your Steam ID? We could do some MP races now?

OK, I think I found you and sent an invitation - please accept

I think the slow down (frame rate drop to 35) comes most often when destroying something...

My slowdown only happens in SP and in 12-car races so I suspect it's a bottleneck in the engine, maybe to do with the attempted fixes for flickering/jittering debris. =/

In Shindo races and in drift/time attacks I get no lag.
