Save Game Locations

Anyone know where the save game locations are? I was hoping to pick up on my desktop where I left off on my laptop:-)

Thanks!

It's on the Steam Clo… no, wait!
It's at C:\Users\*YourNameHere*\Documents\My Games\Sanctum\SanctumGame\Config\SanctumSave.ini

Can't guarantee you that this is all necessary data, though. Might be that it only saves the data of the current match but unlocked maps in singleplayer are stored somewhere else.

I'm currently looking into how we implemented Saves, and all data that you ever want is currently there.

What I'm working on right now, is making you say the full sentence at the next patch

I can't find a SanctumSave.ini file in that folder. Could it be that the save game location has been changed?

Me neither. I guess that the last patch update removed my SP progress!!!

I need some help here please.

I'm not sure this will help you, because as I've writte above, I don't have the SaveGame.ini file, but fortunately my progress still gets saved. I did some further searching and I think I might have found the save location. I have Steam Cloud turned off, but it seems that the game still saves it's data in the local Steam Cloud folder under:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[Steam ID Number]\91600

In the "remote" folder I found a file called "general" and another file called "checkpoint" in a subfolder called "games". I assume that these are the save files for general progress and last checkpoint respectively.

If anyone can confirm this, it would be very much appreciated.

M.

m.harmless: Correct, we no longer use the SanctumSave.ini. We use Steam Cloud.

Thank you very much for the confirmation (and for creating and supporting such an enjoyable game ).
