"CustomRez 0 1920 1080;" in BeatHazardpref.txt is not changing the size of the game's play erea. Does the play area always remain the same, and changing the command simply makes the menus display nicely at hight resolutions?
Thanks |

Your graphic driver makes the picture fullscreen, no matter which resolution you chose. If you don't want that (because for e.g. you want to play 16:9 on a 16:10 monitor) then you'll have to disable gpu scaling (for ati drivers) or the option that does the same for nvidia drivers (which I don't know what it is called).

Then again you might wanna try 640x480 instead of 600x480, because the latter doesn't make any sense (how does playing at such a low res make any sense in the first place?). --------------------------------------------------------- Now about a problem I'm having: I played some songs I shouldn't have played just to see how they turned out. Now they obviously sometimes automatically play as the next song after a game and moreover make my list longer. So I want to get rid of them. However removing indexed songs in the game options only removes songs that have not been played yet. Is there any way to remove them? What would moving songs do? If I move the files somewhere else, start BH so it finds out they are gone, close BH and then put the files back to where they belong - would they be lost for BH unless reindexed or will it find them again automatically? So, if that doesn't work I guess this is my only chance: Quote:

Is it possible to make a command that removes the beat hazard logo from showing up when you have full pow and vol (in other words have beat hazard)?

Are you able to get other commands to work? e.g.
ThanksButNoThanks; is a simple one to test. |

I got the command for constant music volume to work fine, so I know the file itself is named okay and whatnot.

I'd expect purple to be something like:
PhotonCol 0.33 0.1 0.05; Are you trying something like that? |

Something like that, but I had the numbers ahead of the periods (33.0 1.0 5.0). I'll try your code and see how it works.

Yip, that's what it will be. None of the numbers should be over 1.0 as it's a decimal representing a percentage.
Requoting one of my posts above for reference: Quote:

Hrm. Photons are still red, and now it seems like even the constant music volume isn't working. I'm now curious as to whether or not it ever worked, or if the volume perk I was using just made me think it was.
I've put the .txt in about three places at this point, because the folder the first post says to put it in doesn't exist in my installation of the game. Beginning to wonder if I just don't have it in the right spot. Edited: Okay, I finally found the correct APPDATA folder, will try again a little later and see what happens.
