I killed a hiding-in-spawn Machina Sniper with a crit Crossbow shot yesterday. I felt awesome.

The Equaloser.

Low-health Soldier gettin' up in your face? He'll roll a crit and mine your face.

These. At least the Medic with the Crossbow had to aim to a degree, and if he wasn't, then whatever, at least he's playing Medic so there's a CHANCE he'll heal someone, by accident or not.

To answer the OP's question: Yes, but it has nothing to do with game play.

Watching my free to play friends consistently getting 30% more (or higher) items in drops and infinitely better drops than I ever have. Taunts, paints, tags, crates 30 and 40, decal tools are all some that they seem to get REGULARLY. One even has 4 High Five taunts that sit along side his 2 crate 40's and 6 nametags.

We all started playing around the same time (the day of the F2P update last June) but I was apparently stupid enough to go premium not long after. My reward in 'better' drops? A Hat with no name, a Meet the medic taunt, a couple tags here and there in a little less than a year playing plus usually half the weapons that they get.

I realize this is just bait for the F2P players to go premium (that I stupidly fell for) but like that makes me want to rage quit the game, not just a server.

That moment when you go on a random shotgun rampage, stand in front of the enemy, do 9-18 damage meatshots, retreat, and when you're 5 meters away from the enemy, he does 90-180 damage meatshots.

I mean, what the...

Also, Snipe-a-Nature idiots. You know, when you're fighting against someone, seems like a fair fight, and then when you die, the killcam goes through 8 walls just to zoom to a Force-a-Nature Scout who felt like it would be a good idea to spam in your general direction and effectively stole the kill from your challenger with a crit.
I just hate those.
Heavies are also prone to do this, by the way.

I do this all the time with Pyro's Shotgun. 3 damage times 6 is 18. 18 is quite a lot when helping your teammates kill someone else.

Cornerstab, or sidestab whatever you call it. You know you reacted and turned in time to the spy sidestepping around you, but due to the way backstabs are resolved you still get killed.

Getting 9-18 damage on a clear meatshot when your entire screen is filled by delicious enemy scout body, just for him to back up 5-10 feet and suddenly take 80+ health away from you.
