Is there something wrong with item drop?

The past 2 weeks I have gotten only 3 drops from this system, and today, the item drop should have reset by now I would think, been playing since noon, it is now 4. No items. I'm also not playing on a server with instant respawns. So what's going on?

The Item Drop System has been buggy since the Uber Update last year. Some weeks you get 5 items, some weeks you get 7, sometimes you only get 2.

Sadly, people have been complaining about this since last year and Valve has never fixed it, so you pretty much just have to take what you get.

I got a officers ushanka and I thought "HEY free hat" after some hours of playing with friend I go "OMFG I found the teufortkicker in a randoom drop! Im getting dota now! its like I found dota 2" true story

The strangest part is that the glitch seems consistent with some individuals. There are some people who continuosly have their drops botched.
Some report doing this has fixed their drops... maybe is worth a try.

So far my drops have been normal. Idled 9 accounts last night and got 3 hats and a ton of weapons.

Still no paints. It has been near a year and no paint drops between 50+ accounts. WHAT. THE. CHRIST!??

Premium users get less tools/taunts than F2P, because tools drop at the same rate as hats.

And F2Ps cant find hats.

i have been playing 275 hours and have not found a single hat. it is a disgrace.

Pfft, 275 hours, I've been playing for 692 hours and I haven't ever received a single Hat/Misc as a drop.

But the drop system's been normal for me, although I've received 2 Cabers this day. It's never happened to me that I'd get 2 of the same item on a drop week.
