do people still play garrys mod online?

i want to buy garrys mod but i think nobody plays it on steam.so do people still play it or not anymore?

How can you even have formed an opinion about the player status if you don't even own it?

Gmod 13 is in (what I hope is) late Beta, about to be released probably by summer. LOTS of people are testing it. LOTS of people play Gmod.

Just make sure that you don't jump in to this game expecting free resources: you MUST own on that steam account and have installed on that hard drive, the other Source games which you want to use for it's textures, maps, items and models. So, Half Life 2 or the Orange Box, and the Counterstrike Source/Gmod pack are what I strongly recommend.

Also be sure that if you don't already KNOW your rig can run SOURCE GAMES like HL2 and newer valve products, FIND OUT FIRST. If you don't know, post your computer's specs and we can give a glance to make sure.

I asked this question in yahoo answers and i got 2 answers saying i dont think so and its not the same,also i think im getting gmod 9 from steam,its costs 10$

Gmod 9 does not cost anything, and is completely unsupported. If you are BUYING anything from STEAM you will be getting Gmod 10-12 which will be updated soon with 13.

Yahoo answers is full of idiots who aren't educated about the process. They are simply wrong.

My above comment also still stands: you will NEED to legally own and have installed on that account and hard drive, the other Source engine games with which to run Gmod 10-12/13. If you don't already have those, you will not be able to properly play the game.
