Any way to disable a specific sound?

Hello!

I completed this game once it was brant new. and i am now playing it again after the "Game of the year update". and now the snow pea shoothing sound is really "splinting" in my ear. i find the sound really anoying. and that's why i'm asking.

Is there anyway to turn off a specific sound, or change it to a more comfortable sound?
