He says "pretty much the majority of our Z77 boards". That is not the same as "all". And again, support is not listed on the Sabertooth's specifications page or in the user manual, and it's not listed as an available download for the motherboard.

Now, it might work, but that's likely a coincidence rather than deliberate.

Majority, and being as Sabertooth is among their higher end motherboards, suffice to say that would count as 1 of the pretty much majority..

Although.. looking at the download page for the motherboard Xpert 2 isnt listed under the AI Suite Tools.. so unno..

Then again, the motherboard comes with 4-6 4pin Fan Headers, so one would assume it works with Fan Xpert 2.

Again, show us where Fan Xpert 2 is mentioned on the specifications page or user manual.

Thermal Radar, the Dust Defender, and a few other things i believe.

According to this review the Sabertooth does utilize Fan Xpert 2 http://surfingsky.com/scoop/review-asus-sabertooth-z77

Most likely comes on the Install Disk, that way people that dont have a z77 board cant download it i imagine.

The P8Z77-V Pro comes with five PWM fan headers, so one less than the Sabertooth.

The Sabertooth has 2 eSATA ports that the P8Z77-V Pro does not. Both have 6 regular SATA ports.

However, the P8Z77-V Pro has a total of 8 USB 3.0 ports, which is 2 more than the Sabertooth.

The P8Z77-V Pro also includes Wireless that the Sabertooth does not.

I'll ask again, once you take away the armor, what is special about the Sabertooth?

Again, support is not listed in the user manual or specifications. As sfade noted, the gaps in the armor do nothing against dust. As for "thermal radar"

So, you never indicated what features on the board interested you? I doubt the fans will be noisy when you first install them, but it'll be a different matter a year from now.
