credit to blizzard for not forcing Valve to change the name.. i think if they really wanted to they could of because Valve basically took what wasn't theirs to begin with.

Blizzard couldn't force anything, it wasn't their's to enforce. All this would of turned out to be is a massive lawyer battle and a ton of money flying around over trivial matters. Secondly the Dota name can be used in Non-Commercial use anyway.. thus the community still can use the name. It's funny how people get jarateed off over this and yet let Riot Trademark DotA-Allstars without a single peep.. funny.. and hypocrisy.

Not if Nintendo first sues them both for infringing on Super Mario All Stars.

Blizzard all-stars sounds better than Blizzard Dota.

2013? o.o
There are still a lot of heroes to add to the game, a lot. And considering that the game is already very playable in it's current state. That 1 year will pass like nothing.

Blizzard never objected to Valve making Dota 2 as far as I remember. Blizzard only objected once Valve submitted the trademark application because then technically Blizzard might get into legal trouble for promoting Dota mods on Bnet or including Dota mods in official tournaments. Valve agreed not to take any legal action for that, so now everybody's happy :P

I agree Blizzard All-Stars sounds better, and it's easier to tell what the game is about for people who aren't already familiar with what Dota is.
