I bought 5 copies aswell lmfao. I will admit it,as bad as all this seems i have had fun and it was cheap.....but out of the 4 people i gave the game to only 1 will play it with me,for the others it doesnt work, runs too slow,or the bugs are too annoying for them and they give up.
Thats life i suppose. I sent steam an email describing what happened, but i left out the stolen content stuff....just focused on how the game was released broken and some measures that should be taken in future to stop this sort of thing happening again for our sake, for steams sake, and for the developers sake.Hopefully i get a reply so that i know they are taking this seriously. |

I'm pretty sure I'm bored of this game already. It's just very shallow, the gameplay doesn't manage to grab my attention. Whatever I do, it doesn't really feel rewarding. It lacks a lot from a gameplay perspective. Plenty of details were already mentioned by others. And this review sums it up for me.
It's unpolished and there isn't much content. "But it's got potential" really isn't helping anyone here. You're buying a game for what it is at the release, not because there's a chance it might be interesting 6 months later. But sure, I get your point if what you're saying is "Give them some time and come back after 6 months." When people say that a game has potential, it means the release was too early and it's lacking all the things that should have been in there in the first place. And I hate to say it, but certain models indeed look like the models from an other game. Major corner-cutting feeling right there. I understand that developing a game isn't an easy task and I appreciate Spirals' efforts and communication on this forum. But right now, the game just isn't there yet. Even though it was just 9 euros, looking back on it I wished I never bought it. I can't even remember the last time I felt that. The fact that I'm having that over a 9 euro purchase, is quite telling. That's not even a dramatization, it's a simple conclusion. Perhaps after a few more months I'll feel better about having bought it. Promises of what's to come are nice, but they really don't get me stoked when the game isn't enjoyable for me to begin with. It's that initial punch that needs to blow peoples minds that's so important. And here, it's missing. |

It does seem like a desperate cash-in from the developers here. They saw what primal carnage was doing, got worried, and decided on a quick release of an unfinished broken game with the intentions to lure some of the market away from primal carnage which is scheduled for a summer 2012 release.
I'm not going to be too harsh on the devs though, they've had enough of that with the smear campaign, but they knew what they were releasing here. Of course the major bugs were unexpected, but the game itself needs a colossal amount of work done with it, however, they would risk going broke if they didn't throw the game out there for a quick cash in and then play the 'community will add to it' card. |

1. The game play is very shallow 2. Players come to this realization very, very quickly Regardless of future plans, this is the current reality of the game. Once you get past the novelty of your enemies being Dinosaurs, the game doesn't offer much gameplay variety, and what little it does gets old once you get a handle on the controls. Now people do get bored at different rates, but this game needs major additions to basic game play (not just content) in order to reach a "passable" rating. |
