angry with commandos

i can´t understand... why they sell a game that doesn´t work properly on modern computers? i´m happy to support developers, but it´s hard to pay for a game when i can download a WORKING version for free, completly fixed, now i bought commandos on steam, i had SO MANY PROBLEMS, and i have to search for solutions on forums, with mostly of links broken... i suppose that bought modern games it´s ok, but my old Fallout, and firsts titles of Commandos was just a waste of money.

You will encounter this with almost every old PC game. It's the way things are. If you want to buy old games already fixed for today's machines without having to hunt for patches, you have to get them from GoG.

Try the stickie thread on top of this forum. The last page has still working links for the complete fixes of BEL / BCOD.

Once you get these great games running, you will forget about the fixing you had to do to make them run (I sure did). I got a lot of great game time from them.

that´s the way things are, i try the fixes, y search for paches and nothing.

but even if patches work, i believe that pyro studios have to put patches in theyr website, if they want to sell the game.
