Impenetrable Towns
Just played a game where the town + one adjacent hex was completely surrounded by mountains. How the heck do you attack that?

Levitating melee units are lethal, especielly at sea.

Yeah, I love levitating units. The levitate spell has a high cost but if you can cast in on about half a dozen heavily buffed units then you have an awesome amphibious assault force. Its fun to capture coastal cities this way.

Levitated ancient liches are possibly the best unit in the game against anything not immune to death.
