If I'm in steam voice chat and start a game, I lose connection to steam

Not sure why this happens...is it connection related? I'm pretty far from my router, and when I start a game the voices start to crackle, but when I close the game it's fine.

cause your voice loud and eating your bandwidth,let say u going up the hill and when your start talking u get weight on your shoulders,the more you talk.laughing.the more weight u get
