Could I get a VAC ban if a program or if I erase, change, modified, etc, file(s) from the Windows folder(Especially System32)?
Just that thanks... |

Valve Anti-Cheat: The following will not trigger a VAC ban: System hardware configurations Updated system drivers, such as video card drivers But modifying DirectX .dll files is not recommended and shouldn't be done. Can you specify your question, by the way? What files exactly do you want to change?

Games do very rarely tamper with the system files (however redistributables do) So it's very rare that you have game files within system32. But... Many cheats do tamper with the DX files in order to achieve some cheats. There has been cases of a tampered DX library triggering VAC bans. But as has been said before without knowing more i cannot tell if it will be safe or not. |
