Free L.A Noire?

I just restarted my Pc and Steam Logged in as normal and for some got a free copy of L.A Noire, from nowhere. Could someone explain this?

They included L.A Noire then? Because I know they gave Max Payne 1 and 2 if you pre-ordered Max Payne 3, but I already had Max Payne 1 & 2, I did not expect them to give L.A Noire for free as well

By the sounds of it, he had already bought the game without knowing this or before the deal was added therefore he got more than he originally paid for - hence free bonus as he had already recieved what he'd paid for.
