First-time-setup is incredibly slow.
Is there any solutions to this? I've been waiting well over an hour, and it still is on step 1.

The solution is, assuming it is trying to install the .NET framework, is to open the Task Manager, or Process Explorer if you have it, and switch to the Processes tab.
Look for dotnetfx35.exe, or something like that. It should be using some CPU, right-click it and click End Process. Click yes if you get a dialog. After you do this, the installer will assume that it finished up and it will continue on to the next step. (This happened to me, but you and I both already have the .NET framework 3.5 so it doesn't need to be re-installed.) |

For me the steps finished up fairly quickly, however with everything done it won't even start?
