Wireless controller not working

My wireless Xbox 360 gamepad is not working in the game. There is no option to enable it in the menu, despite the fact that the game's store page claims that it is controller-ready. The game is only allowing me to play with keyboard and mouse. I don't want to play with K&M.

Powering up the controller before loading the game or while the game is running is not working.

Anybody know how to fix it?

Definitely power it up before loading the game. Once in game, go to the controller setup (the flight stick at the right of the table) and record a new input scheme, using your controller.

Ah, thank you very much! I had assumed from the start that "controller enabled" meant "pre-configured", which led me to believe that the game just wasn't finding my gamepad.

I'll start up the game again and give it a go.

No, to be honest, controller support was added as an afterthought in the latest patch and therefore needs to be configured specifically. There used to be a pre-configuration, but on some controllers it turned out pretty awkward, so the options for controller setup were added.
