The simple fact remains that if you're looking for a dungeon crawler with minimal loot management, minimal back tracking, never getting lost, tons of action, creepy graphics, minimal story to worry about and an overflow of fun, then Hunted is the game for you.

I bought this yesterday (21/05/2012) and avoided it until now due to the bad reviews. I was looking for something to pass the time until GW2 arrives. Cutting to the chase, I grabbed it, played for an hour, fixed the FOV (via widescreen gaming site: http://www.wsgf.org/dr/hunted-demons-forge/en) and sat back and wondered why I left it so long???

Several hours in and if anything the game keeps getting better. Yes it has flaws and yes the controls could have been improved, but the bottom line is (for me) this is a very entertaining game. I've played many of the recent AAA titles and came away VERY disappointed. It's the exact opposite for Hunted. As others have said, they are far more worse games out there.

Why is it every time I click on "Visit the Forums" for a game I'm interested in, there's usually always a thread saying DON'T BUY THIS GAME!

I do not have a problem with the Single player aspect of this game. I do however have a major problem with the broken CO-OP in this game that not only is not fixed yet, and still doesn't work, but not one person WHO MAKES THE CLAIM IT DOES OR THEY HAVE USED CO-OP has ever explained how to get into a CO-OP game.

It's just the usual irritating internet BS of people causing problems just because they can, and lazy people leaving links to things they themselves cannot explain, then having the balls to call you lazy.

Here is a link to the phone conversation I had with Bethesda regarding the CO-OP in this game:

Here is a link to a topic I posted about no one explaining how to get into the CO-OP:

I'm really sick and tired of people on the net

I've just finished playing Hunted and I must say I enjoyed it. As long as you don't expect something epic like Dragon Age or Witcher, and accept it for what it is, a fantasy themed action game, its quite fun to play.

Its mostly linear but there are a few side paths to explore and some optional puzzles for hidden loot. My playthrough lasted about 15 hours. The story was quite good and I enjoyed the playful banter between Elara and Caddoc. And I liked how there are no distracting waypoint markers so you can get properly immersed (you can press a button for a hint on where to go next if you get lost).

I mostly played as Elara and I found her bow combat to be enjoyable. The different types of bows (slow and strong, fast and weak) and the magic gives a few interesting tactical options.

There's some decent PC customisation options too in terms of graphics, and key bindings.

I'm actually a bit sad now because I want to have another adventure with these characters but most of the reviews were poor so a sequel is doubtful

It's like they took a good RPG but changed it to the specifications of a Caww of Doodie kid.
