Hi everyone
![]() I have a late 2008 unibody macbook that I play L4D2 with. When I start up a game it plays fine and I get around 30-50 fps until there's a lot of on screen action then the game starts to stutter slightly until the fps plummets to around 8fps and stays around that level even when there's no action on screen. Sometimes after completing one level say Hotel, and loading the next, the game will start in the same laggy state. Quitting the game and reloading does nothing and there's nothing I can do that alters the frame rates in the video options as everything is set to low by default. Only restarting Steam brings the fps back to normal levels but after a while will the game start to lag again ![]() System Specs: Macbook Unibody (late 2008) 2.4 ghz dual core 4GB ram Nvidia 9400M Nothing running in the background that would cause this. I don't know why this happens in L4D2 only as in Team Fortress 2 and Half Life 2 I have no such issues.

Sounds like a video card issue... make sure you let valve know (not like they will do anything about it anyway but still worth mentioning)
