Avast: "Suspicious program?"

I just installed Avast and when I tried to fire up Geometry Wars it stopped it, claiming it looked suspicious. It then said it didn't look like malware but I should be careful when running it.

I'm inclined to believe it's just Avast being overly protective since I've run it before and it was fine, but has anyone else's antivirus had a problem with this game? I just thought it was weird since for ages I couldn't get it to run at all with the "failed to find steam" error, and now it works but it's showing up as malicious.

thats one of the reasons why i just uninstalled avast, is a piece of crap

Eh. It's free, it does what it should, and it interferes a lot less than Mcafee which is what my computer came with.

Edit: Now it can't find steam again. Forget it, this isn't worth the headache.
