My idea is a official Team fortress two companion app for Android Tablets and and Apple's iPad. While there are a number of unofficial TF2 Apps, the official valve app could offer special features. For example, while in game I could receive a trade offer, normally this would require me to switch to the steam overlay and select items for trade. While this would be all right during a period when my character is waiting for a re-spawn during game play, this could cause me to miss my character re-spawning and thus causing my character to stand there like an idiot. That is where the app would come in, during game play I could trade on my tablet, allowing me to quickly return to game play.
Even during game play the app could provide live in-game stats such as points earned, achievement progress, kills, deaths, Building stats (as Engineer), ping, etc. Another feature is the ability to switch classes, or quickly change equipped weapons and hats. Overall, the app would provide a improved in-game steam experience. |

So you want an app you can use while you're playing the game?
Would you care to tell me where you got that extra pair of hands of yours? |

I've actually been working on trying to build a scoreboard companion app, but it's almost impossible. Valve officially supports client plugins, but there is no documentation and I can't figure half the stuff out by myself.
