Needs Controller support

I'm a Keyboard+Mouse gamer but this game need to be played with a controller, at $5 this is still a waste. It's too bad, this game looked fun.

Well I dont own the game but... you can try JoytoKey to emulate the keyboard in your controller , maybe the only option till the properly controller support arrives (if it arrives ¬¬).

Mouse and Keyboard is more accurate to be honest. In later level, you will die a lot if you are late when shooting.

Cheers for the heads up on no pad support.
Being a massive Metal Slug fan this caught my eye, but playing a run and gun on a mouse? Eww, no thank you.

But I feel this game is faster when aiming using mouse.
Yeah, I bought this game too because of Metag Slug feeling.
I used to play Metal Slug on game arcade when I was a child (7 years old). Though maybe it was forbidden.

I played the demo on the PSN, and the controller configuration isn't the best. Aiming is as inaccurate as it comes. They had to implement a system where the character stands still, just so you can aim with the analog stick. I haven't played the PC version yet, but a mouse and keyboard combination sounds a lot better than having to stick with the controller layout. You can actually run "and" gun, instead of run, stand still, aim, and then shoot, rinse and repeat.

Nope, emulating a mouse aim with analogs is a terrible idea, the game needs real controller support aka directional aim, otherwise it's unplayable with a gamepad even if you use Xpadder or similar programs.

It can be played with JoyToKey, just takes a while to get your configuration right.

Still dont know why it has the crappy (inaccurate) mouse aiming (where it doesnt even shoot where your aiming, just somewhere near).

If you've played Renegade Ops or Geometry wars you'll know how this should play, simple Point the right stick in the direction the thing you want to die is.
