Steam Community System isn't responding
yes I am aware I posted before about this. Well its just happened again, for about 20 minutes.
I dug up my former post about it, and i was informed to subscribe to something so I would be aware of it. This forum account, has nothing and is no way tied to my steam account. Not to mention of course I have 2 steam accoutns because Steam refuses to believe I own Half Life 1. (of which I own 2 copies, I can see them from here on a shelf, but Steam requires me to send them more money to prove it... WHAT?) Here we are, and I am forced to register, jump through hoops, do this and do that, for things I have paid for. Why not simply send a message via the steam system "we're sorry but we are updating the servers currently, expected wait time is such and such?" Instead I have to have multiple accounts and wander through a vertible labrynth just to figure out why I can't play a game... Say what? as Coach would say. I'm sorry but I don't spend my free time reading forums, I have other things to do. When I fire up a game I pretty much expect to play it. I clicked on the link and I see nothing to tell me to subscribe. And if this is something that is going to spam my email address every 20 minutes with notices... then frankly I dont want it. Why is the whole system of communication disconnected from the main tool itself? Steam? |

I'm having the same problem with Steam community too, looks like it's been down for days. Even when I search for my own player name it returns no results!! I want to be able to look up player names for availability.
