A decent buy perhaps

I don't think I've ever had a first thread anywhere ever.

Anyway, I was previously against this title when it was at $30 for the box, having had tried it in Beta, but now with the current updates and the discount, with the first month free, I don't think you can go wrong.

So I'm jumping in at $15, and if you're interested in hybrid single-player/multiplayer online fantasy games, you just might enjoy this title.

Time will tell.

I wouldn't even buy this game if it was 2 dollars.. it being p2p means insta do not buy.. SWTOR is around the corner, WoW is still up, Dragon Nest (an ok f2p game is releasing today).. Why people would even play this abomination of an mmo is beyond me.

Also this subforum is about as dead as the game itself, no surprises there.

I wouldn't call it an abomination. Earthrise is an abomination. Mortal Online is an abomination, Xyson is an abomination, but not G&H.

It does not require a subscription for the first month, which from a mmo standpoint, aint all that bad at $15, play the content it has out for a month, then see where the devs take it.

If it doesn't require a first month subscription but costs 15$ to buy initially... then aren't you paying subscription anyway?

If you want to think of it that way then sure, but then you would have to consider the client free.

Taken a look at the MMO market these days? F2P is the way to go these days, people just don't wanna throw money at something that might suck.

So, yes, I consider the client free, maybe this started development a long time ago but MMOs in general haven't relied on an initial retail fee for quite some time, and rightly so.

This game is dead, very low population and way to expensive. I have testet it 3 days and must say grafik is very old i think Lotro looks better and is free 2 play. 9€ a month is way to much for such a bad game.

The game isn't bad, it just isn't finished.
