cant access account?

i have been extremely worried about the possibility of my account being hijacked ever since steam told me my account creditdentials had expired. i realize that this is most likely due to the downtime, but i just want to be absolutley sure.

Best way to prevent hijacked accounts:

DO NOT recycle user names and passwords; in other words, make sure your forum name/password differs from your STEAM account.
