This is the game I always come back to
Despite how angry EA makes me sometimes regarding this game, i do come back to it about every 3 months and recently I returned to it during the memorial day weekend.
The changes that were made are for the BETTER and people are having FUN. No more waiting, as the long timers for objectives and keeps have been removed. Rewards are no longer random, and there is a solid player base at least on the North American Server so that anytime on the weekends and prime time during the week you can always find a War Band. One thing I can say, is that as new games come and go with the same old same old, Warhammer Online is different and a PvP/RvR paradise. My only complaint is that they really need to go F2P, because the days of subscriptions for any MMORPG are over IMHO. One important thing of note, I had to shelve my level 40/46 renown KOTBS because he is pre-Renown increase and the RR gap for him will never be breached. SO I created a WP on Memorial day weekend and he is currently level 23/31 Renown and playing in T3. The Bolster system allows lower level players to play across Tiers and keeps T2-T4 very populated. Servers are down today for a MASSIVE patch, good to see they are doing alot of work on this game. |

They should have done it at least 2 or 3 years ago. Of all the games that went F2P after LOTRO, WAR was the one I was most looking forward to. Maybe if Wrath of Heroes doesn't turn out to be very successful they will think about it. Bioware Mythic has shown an enormous amount of stubborness so far.
