is your card enabled for online purchases?

mine works fine , make sure you fill out the details exactly as on the card when you purchase.

many regions outside of the states but whatever.

For me it was always my antivirus program messing with the Steam purchase.

Well one thing for sure I know it isn't my card as I bought a lot of stuff using the same card; even went ahead to double check it's activated. It can't be that 2 people have same problem. Been going on for awhile like I said. Even with sale and no sales, I get the same thing... Please fix as I want to get in on the summer sale that's coming up soon.

Both steam and other places so I know the card works fine. Searched all over the forum but there's no definitive answer on how to fix it.

so this is both in the client and in your web browser?

try making a purchase in windows safemode+networking.
somebody suggested a virus scanner being the problem you do not give any feedback on that one.

it would be good info to let us know what you find when searching , it would speed things up.

I meant I never heard of that as a reason why it wouldn't allow it plus it's the same virus protection I have that I bought before. I know it wouldn't be the virus scanner. What else would you want to know?
