What about Wadjeteye Games on GOG.com?

Dave (CEO of Wadjet Eye Games) confirmed that The Shivah and Emerald City Confidential will not come to Steam. So I thought that maybe they could make it into GOG.com.

As GOG.com staff said recently, in 2012 they will start to distribute not only Good Old Games, but also newer releases the old fashioned way (you know, no DRM, low prices everywhere in the world, cool extras). Maybe GOG would be interested in these games that could be very appealing to the "core" customers from that site: people who love the good old days games. And, you know, The Shivah and Emerald City Confidential are point and click adventures like the ones we used to play in early 90s. Also, by this time, Wadjet Eye Games made themselves a really good reputation as a great adventure games developer.

So, what you say, guys? would you like to see this two games (and maybe even Gemini Rue and Blackwell) on GOG.com?
And what do you think, Dave? Could this be viable?

I'd love that. GOG.com would be a perfect fit for the old-school feel of these games (all of them, including Blackwell series and Gemini Rue).

By the way, Emerald City Confidential is actually already on Steam, but with PlayFirst as publisher:

Perhaps it's simply not available in your region?

Would GOG really take my stuff? I thought they only took good "old" games. Blackwell only looks old.

Well, they have King's Bounty: The Legend, which was released on April 25, 2008.
And Witcher 2

They said that this year would start to distribute new games. That's why I thought of this.

Yup. So Blackwell could fit quite well there, I think!

If you go with GOG, be sure to release the soundtrack as an extra so I can buy it!

Yep! They approached us a few months ago but I had to keep mum about it until now.

So now the question remains, when is the next installment coming? You definitely set the story up for something EPIC with Deception! (No pressure or anything )

And how will future installments figure with the "complete bundles." Since unlike Steam, in GOG you actually own the package/bundle, not the individual games, anything new added to the package/bundle will automatically appear in the accounts of those who purchased the package earlier.

Probably another reason to rename it "Blackwell Quadrilogy" as someone mentioned in the GOG topic.

When you say "they approached us" how exactly does that work...? Do they ask you or make suggestions on content and price?

They emailed us before the Game Developer conference and asked if we could meet. It was quite flattering.
