best ship to pick for first free upgrade?

Ive got the Constellation Cruiser, Saber Escort, and Nova science vessel.

Which one is best?

It depends. Are you a sci, engineer, or tac captain?

Escort is fastest and does the most DPS, but is very squishy and if youre not comfortable with the controls yet hard to maneuver sometimes.

Cruiser is the tankiest

Science at tier 2 is kind of meh. lieutenant science abilities arent all that great. Although it has a sensor analysis ability thats kind of cool and useful.

Honestly, no choice is going to ruin your game, and youll be on to the next level fast enough and the tier 2 missions are so easy that it doesnt matter. Pick the one you like.
