Chinese audio request thread

A game set in Hong Kong yet no Chinese language? Meh. It lowers the immersion instantly.
Who else wants to play this with Chinese audio and English subtitle?

Actually I'd prefer Chinese Audio with Japanese subtitle... But beggars can't be choosers so I'd settle for the OP's choice

I actually used English as an example. Personally I'd love it if Steam would allow us to use any combination of audio and subtitles

I wish we could have Cantonese with English subtitles, but at this point there is no hope. The game is practically finished and all of the audio was recorded a long time ago.

If the devs were based out of Hong Kong, I'd agree but that isn't the case. Also, Tom Wilkinson doing voicework > Cantonese audio.

The English audio is the standard. English is one of the most spoken language in the world. This explain why all game are in English.

For example, take a Sc-Fi game where invaders had never went to earth, hear of earth, but when they speak for the first time they are speaking a perfect English.

The game will probably be available in multiple language.

I understand it would a huge undertaking to add a complete Chinese audio with English subtitles, but it is kinda jarring to hear the spoken English as it is. Much of the dialogue in the trailer (admittedly a small sample) sounds like it was spoken by a Caucasians (possibly Americans) and not by Chinese/Asians? Ok, the main character has US background,so that's one explanation, but the dialogue all sounded very wrong to me?

It's a mix of both. Cantonese with English. The main character speaks English only (from the videos), while some characters speak Cantonese. I guess the annoyance is that the some characters in the videos talk to the main character in Cantonese and then he'll reply in English

Yeah, I wish it was in Canto... Would be a dream come true if it was.
English in a game based in China is a no-no for me, just like how watching Anime in English dubs is complete utter bull♥♥♥♥ IMO.

Cantonese with English subtitles would be great, but I doubt they would invest the time and effort to complete it. Maybe a fan dub mod?
