Hints on Exploding Head Syndrome
I like some hints on that boss battle (I really hate that Boss Batles). My doubt is how and what's the best combination to form the final atom...?

The most efficient ratio is something like 7 H2O/24 H for Plutonium. Doing that twice give you 2 Pu with 48 OH left over for 24 H2+O2. The remaining single H2O2 can be created using two more H2O, leaving only 2H as waste products. Variations like a 6/34+8/14 split will also work nicely. I believe this arrangement will require the manual switches though.
An 'easy' automated method would be to split H2O into H+OH and fuse the single H until you have plutonium. It overproduces H2+O2 by a long shot, but it's relatively simple. As a general hint, the first thing you should always do is determine the ratios of input molecules you need for the targets. Get out paper and pencil (or maybe a spreadsheet), write down some numbers, and see if you can get something that could work. For example. With the H2O -> H+OH proposal mentioned above, Pu has an atomic number of 94, so you'll need 94 H for one, and 188 for two. This means 188 H2O are required. With that, you can build 94 H2+O2, so you know you'll have enough of those as well. Last edited by cearn: 04-24-2012 at 08:28 AM. Reason: H2O2 is for NNFI; H2+O2 for EHS -_- |

Remmber that you have controls. You're Pu production doesn't need to be completely automated, so long as you don't mind a bit of micromanagement.

Here's a fully automated way to do it:
