Steam Starter Pack worth it?

Ok, from what information I have gathered:

800 gold cost $10.

Starter pack (in game) cost 1600 gold = $20

1600 Gold = to $20.

Steam Starter Pack = Starter Pack + 800 gold for $10 (normally $20)

Steam Starter Pack worth $30, cost $10 right now.

Technically you are getting $20 of free stuff.

If you want to buy something in this game. This seems like a good deal.

You get $20 worth of stuff free + your $10 back in gold.

I would say, worth it. (If you intend to buy anyways)

Opinions please?

I got it simply for the unlocks, and the 50% XP gain.
I'm impatient
I haven't really decided what to use the gold on, but I suppose it will be worth it when I decide haha.

if i buy this starterpack on steam, will the game remain forever in my account?

For example: If you have a f2p version of Trackmania, it will not be linked to your account forever unless you by Trackmania: Unlimited.

Not sure really. I know the items will be bound to your Tribes account. That's all I can really say. Never tried before.

Afaik the game will not remain in your library, if that's what you ask (most f2p games on steam work this way). All your progress ingame is linked to your HiRez account. Installing the game through steam is really just a convenience thing, it has the same functions as the standalone version.

I've been playing this game for about 2 weeks now and I've decided that it'll be something I'll play often and could easily keep coming back to it. Even though the game is free and I do just fine without paying (it's not Pay2Win), the versatility that the pack gives plus the VIP (permanent +50% XP) is worth it. I was hoping they'd add some kind of $5 package with VIP but this steam one is really good.

Yes you are right, the value of the $10(sale) "steam" starter pack is like spending $30 in-game to buy the in-game starter pack and an additional 800 gold. It's definitely worth it. I'm going to buy it as soon as it seems the issues people have been with enabling the starter pack are resolved.

The steam starter pack is equal to the $20 in-game starter pack plus the $10 for 800 gold purchase. So in terms of the regular price in-game store, it's worth $30.

In-game:
2 Classes, check.
4 weapons, check
4 perks, check.

Cost, 1600 Gold or $20.

Any purchase of gold gets you VIP. That gives you a 50% XP boost.

Steam Starter Pack:
2 Classes, check.
4 weapons, check
4 perks, check.
50% XP from buying, check.
800 gold, check.

Cost $10

Yes, the Steam Starter Pack contains the same as the in-game/first party Starter pack.

Lol, also:

https://account.hirezstudios.com/tri...referinfo.aspx

Friend Referral bonuses! Didn't see that before.

10,000 Referrals, All expense paid trip to Hi-Rez Studios, co-develop a map and reveal the map in a video with the Dev team.

That one is funny.

yes its an amazing deal

not just for the xp, but also for the unlocks!

and the price is unbelievable, think of what you getting for $10, this game could have easily cost $50-$60

and you will be paying $10

To best sum it up: You're paying for 800 gold. All the items you see included are extra. And I checked :P

Kinda regret already unlocking the technician before looking now, but even still, if I had the dosh I'd pick this pack up. Freakin steal
