Steam Client Workshop
Where people can add skins.
Then we finally have a centralized source for skins and, most important, get updates automatically without the need to search for the old threads in this forums. |

I like this idea.
It would make it a lot easier for people to use skins.

I think with Big Picture Mode being modable, we need this more than ever.

YES
You know what would be great. Some sort of STEAM WorkShop for STEAM Skins. Auto updating skins, easily display screenshots, etc... Author updates the Workshop entry and STEAM auto updates the skin during launch so I don't have to worry about a STEAM update breaking the skin. If the author hasn't updated the Workshop after an update, maybe an option during launch that says something like, "STEAM has been updated and your skin might not be compatible with this version." Then give options to launch with default skin or check for skin update from the SKIN Workshop. Are you listening Valve? |

I could not agree more. +rep
It's so hard finding good steam skins, however, one issue when steam is updated a lot of skins can break. Maybe "use at your own risk" or a sorta SDK for making skins so it's easier to update them to work? |
