If you're gaming, no. Intel HD Graphics will slow your graphical performance TONS compared to most laptop mobile graphics cards. For basic computing like Youtube and such, it will do absolutely fine.

Team Fortress 2 on Intel HD Graphics Hmm, seems I stand corrected. Fairly fluid FPS and looks totally playable. And it doesn't even exactly look like ultra-low settings. Games like Portal and HL2 will do just fine on that GFX as well. Minecraft will run quite decently as long as you don't jack the settings up and have a decent amount of RAM. (4GB at the LEAST) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twheiVy8hMQ Minecraft on Intel HD graphics (I'm sorry, but to put my two cents in, those settings look a bit unbearable, but it's all about the preferences of the user!) EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtE2v...feature=fvwrel The Truth About The Intel HD Graphics ^ Another video to keep in mind when making the big decision!
