Civ 5 G&K Crashing Every Few Turns
Hey guys,
Steam support was not much help, so I was hoping you, the gracious community, might be of more help! Every time I set up a game, G&K or no, it works fine for a few turns, then crashes. If I load up a save from that time, it works for a few more turns, then crashes. This has only happened since I installed Gods and Kings! I'm on a Macbook Pro Retina, 2.7 GHZ, 16GB of RAM. Thanks so much for your help!!! |

what kind of CPU do you have aside from the speed (which is kinda low), it's possible the new AI tweeks need more CPU muscle and your machine is over heating if it completly turns off. Or jsut stalling out if the game freezes.

I'm using an Intel Core i7 (2.7 GHZ) with Nvidia GT650M (1024MB). It's the new Retina MBP

Probably the MBP itself is the culprit? Retina's resolution is high, you know, and may cause unknown effect to the game's internals.
