PLEASE HELP

I am currently trying to install a skin for a hat to replace another hat vie Gamebanana, but the site only gives instructions for downloading a golden revolver.

How do I install the hat skin?

The same way as you would do the Golden Revolver, only with the <Insert weapon here> that you're replacing.

Also, use trial and error mah boi, like all real men do.

Find your installation of steam (It's usually C:\program files\steam or C:\program files (x86)\steam). Once you find it, go to the folder steamapps\YOUR STEAM ID\team fotress 2\tf

If your zip has a tf folder in it, then just merge it with the tf folder under team fortress 2. If you only have a materials and models folder (either/or), then just put them under tf and it should be installed.

Yeah, it should be the same file location. Doesn't matter if it's a hat or weapon skin.

Er, I followed the guide up to "models".

Can someone explain what I do from there? In English perhaps, not computer gibberish?
